July Blog: The Cirencester sell-out, new products, ponies and a dissertation.

I have to admit... The main reason I'm writing this blog is to avoid my dissertation.

I had absolutely no intention of doing a masters degree once I'd finished my undergrad. However, Covid ruined all plans of travelling or potentially finding a 'proper' job (for the moment anyway), so my second dissertation deadline is imminent. Writing about Cotswold Fox is far more preferable, so here we are!

It's been over a week since the release of the Cirencester Quarter Zips. I was slightly apprehensive about the launch, as they are my first product where I worked closely with a wonderful supplier to bring my terribly drawn designs to life. I had absolutely no idea what you would all think, but selling out in under two hours was definitely not what I imagined! I spent the next 24 hours in my 'office' (the spare room), in a blur of boxes, packing tape and cups of tea (and G&Ts), getting over 70 orders packed and posted. I was completely blown away by your support and kind comments, a re-stock is coming very soon!

I'm also thrilled to be releasing a few new products this month, one of which are our new Tees, which are currently live on the website. If you're looking for a fun, comfortable, inexpensive t-shirt, these are the ones for you!

Tees – Cotswold Fox Clothing

When I'm not (attempting) to write my diss, working on Cotswold Fox or doing my part time marketing job, you'll be able to find me on a horse.

It seems odd not to mention the horses in some capacity, as they are such a huge part of my life and have been for nearly 20 years. I currently ride two horses, the first being my wonderful seasoned eventer called Sammy, who my family have owned for 6 years and we've moved up the levels together.

My other horse is a youngster, who we bought last season as a lockdown project. The first time I clapped eyes on him was when he arrived at home in a horse transporter from Ireland, and he's just starting his eventing career.

Anyway, I digress! I've got so many ideas coming up for Cotswold Fox and I can't wait to see what you all think. Keep an eye out towards the end of the month for exciting new products and a big re-stock! If you sign up to our mailing list you'll be the first to hear.

I'm not normally full of clichés but I really couldn't be enjoying this little venture more and I can't thank you all enough for your support, what an incredible first few months!
