Burghley Horse Trials

Eventing is my favourite sport in the world, totally without question.

I've been eventing since the age of 12 and once dreamt of competing at the biggest 5* events, however, I realised that beyond 2* level I am absolutely not brave enough for those crazy jumps!

Having the opportunity to be involved with events such as Badminton and Burghley is therefore incredibly special and I honestly enjoy every second of them.

As well as getting to meet so many of our wonderful customers, it was also an unforgettable weekend of sport and I couldn't be more delighted for Ros Canter for her win, especially after what happened in Paris!

There were too many highlights to count, but I've tried to include some of my favourite moments (images below):

  • The sell out of our new CF Sport T-Shirts, these will soon be back, alongside a new design.
  • Coming across a dog that looked SO MUCH like a fox that I had to grab a photo with him.
  • Sunrise views over Burghley House at 6am after waking up in the horsebox.
  • The end of set up! Far too many bags of stock to count and a few very tired team members.
  • Walking the course after XC day and finally seeing the famous Cottesmore Leap in person (I can confirm I'd rather do almost anything than jump it).

See you all at Blenheim Horse Trials next week!
