When the opportunity of going ranching in the US came about, I honestly couldn't say no, despite this being the busiest time of the year for us in the office! I made sure to pack a few Cotswold Fox essentials, including our Cirencester Quarter Zips and a Fleece Gilet, both are perfect for the hot days and chilly nights out here.

Attempting to combine work and travel whilst I'm away.

I went with Emma, a good friend who I met whilst we were working on a horseback safari farm in South Africa earlier this year. There's just something about exploring the world on horseback which is so magical!

Riding through the desert in Utah.

We landed in Phoenix from London, did a short flight up to Salt Lake City and started our road trip. We're visiting a total of 4 ranches from Moab in Utah, to the Grand Canyon and finishing down in Arizona, riding through the desert.

Each landscape is so varied and we are constantly lost for words! The horses are so kind, clever and easy to ride in western saddles. Of course, Emma and I are super comfortable in our Cirencester Quarter Zips, the perfect layer for every location!
