Why British-Made Knitwear Is Worth It

"Made in the UK” we don’t hear it as often as we should!
In a world of fast fashion and overseas mass production, British manufacturing has become rare. But rare is often valuable. That’s exactly why producing our knitwear here in the UK was never a question for us, it was a responsibility.

A Natural Fit for British Wool
Wool is the foundation of our knitwear collection. While cotton thrives in warmer climates, the British weather isn’t exactly known for sunshine, but what we do have is something far more suited to knitwear: an abundance of sheep!
The UK has a long-standing heritage of wool production, with generations of expertise behind it. Choosing British wool isn’t just about quality, it’s about working with a material that belongs here, grown and refined in the environment it was made for.

Supporting British Craft
Finding a British-based supplier for our new knitwear collection was incredibly important to us. By working with a UK factory, we’re not only ensuring high production standards, we’re also supporting local craftsmanship and helping to keep traditional skills alive.
Every stitch, every panel, every finish is handled by people who truly understand the craft. This level of care and attention is something you simply can’t mass-produce!

Quality You Can Feel
Our knitted quarter zip collection is made in a UK factory, resulting in garments that feel substantial, durable, and timeless. This isn’t fast fashion designed to last a season, it’s slow fashion, made to be worn year after year.
British-made means:
-
Better quality control
-
Ethical working conditions
-
Lower transport emissions
-
Long-lasting garments
When you invest in British-made knitwear, you’re investing in something that holds its value, in style, in feel, and in purpose.

More Than a Label
“Made in the UK” isn’t just a tag inside the neckline. It represents heritage, responsibility, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
For us, British-made isn’t about nostalgia, it’s about the future of fashion. Slower. Better. More meaningful.
Thank you for supporting us!
