Horseback Safari in South Africa!

For the first month of 2025 I am working as a back up horseback safari guide in South Africa whilst still running Cotswold Fox full time! You may have seen snippets of my travels on social media but here is more of what I've been up to.

I'm at Horizon Horseback Safari in South Africa, riding for around 6 hours each day with our wonderful guests, spotting amazing wild game on the African plains. In-between rides we look after over 100 horses, swim in the pool and hang out at the lodge, it really is just so much fun. 

Daily routine: 


5am wake up 

6am get the horses in and feed and prep for rides

7:30 - 11:30 morning ride

12-3 long lunch (when I squeeze in some CF work!)

3:30 - 6:30 afternoon ride

7:30 - 10 host dinner for the guests 

I absolutely LOVE Cotswold Fox and couldn't be more obsessed with my little business, however, 2024 was wildly busy (to say the least) and I realised I really needed a bit of a break whilst we're quiet (ish) in January.

Travelling is one of my favourite things and I'm such a free spirit, I really love that I can have a little flexibility with Cotswold Fox before we begin a crazy 2025!
